PROJECT FEATURES

New 5.5-million-gallon sanitary storage tank:

• Intergovernmental agreement between Village and Park District
• Village-owned and maintained structure constructed within Park District property under athletic fields
• Collects and holds sewage during heaving storm events to reduce flooding on west side of Village

Existing natural turf fields replaced with multi-use synthetic turf field; includes shock pad and reversible pitcher mound

Separate improvement project included:

• 4 new paddle tennis courts
• Parking lot and maintenance yard rehabilitation

• Metropolitan Water Reclamation District
