Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc. (GHA) was retained by the Village of Lincolnshire to provide Phase I, Phase II and Phase III Engineering Services related to a multi staged series of Pedestrian improvements throughout the Village. The Village secured Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP) funding for several pedestrian and multi-use path improvements. The final set of improvements, referred to as Stage 3, included 1,500 feet of 8-foot wide HMA multi use path along a Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) highway that linked an existing Village Park site to Daniel Wright Middle School.

Additionally, 300 feet of 7-foot-wide sidewalk was constructed within an office park connecting an extended stay hotel to an existing system of walking paths within the complex.

The project received Design Approval in January 2019 and was subsequently placed on the November 2019 IDOT Letting. GHA also provided Construction Engineering for the $270,000.00 project which was completed in 2020.
