GHA Qualifications

Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc's professional business practice is fairly balanced between the public and private sector. In 2008, public sector work accounted for approximately 55% of our revenues.

Our current clients include municipal governments, townships, counties, the Illinois Department of Transportation, school districts, park districts, community colleges, development corporations, large retail companies, architects and the Capital Development Board.

GHA has three full-time survey crews outfitted with robotic total station surveying equipment, which allows us to provide accurate, cost effective surveying and staking services. We also own dual-frequency GPS receivers that expedite and enhance many of our surveying activities, as well as sub meter GPS units for GIS data acquisition and a High Definition Scanner. We have three Illinois Professional Land Surveyors on staff and we have full capabilities to provide all land surveying services.

Our field equipment interfaces with our CAD stations in the office, allowing us to provide accurate, quality drawings for engineering design and data base management. Through our CAD and GIS facilities we can provide a full range of mapping services, including utility atlases and zoning maps.
