Professional Land Surveyor
Responsibilities include: managing projects and client satisfaction, supervising technical staff, boundary and A.L.T.A. survey preparation, subdivision plats, building and construction layout, and preparing new job proposals. Qualifications include 5+ years related experience; knowledge of AutoCAD; field procedures. Illinois Professional Land Surveyor license preferred; licensure through reciprocity will be considered.

Survey Party Chief
Responsibilities include: directing survey crews, construction layout, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and A.L.T.A. surveys. Qualifications include 3+ years related experience and knowledge of total stations required. Robotic total stations and GPS experience a plus.
- Invoicing Specialist
Responsibilities include:
Invoicing, Accounts Receivables, and Bookkeeping/Administration support. Qualifications include:
Associate degree in business, accounting or related field, minimum 3-5 years invoicing experience (preferably engineering industry), Deltek ADVantage and/or Database Accounting software program. Skills include: Strong computer background required, detail-oriented, self-starting leader with good communication skills.
- CAD Technician
Responsibilities include preparing civil engineering plans, topographical, boundary and A.L.T.A. surveys; and subdivision plats. Qualifications include 1+ years related experience and knowledge of AutoCAD 2000 or 2002 and land development software.
- Construction Technicians
Responsibilities include construction observation, record keeping, and assisting with interpretation of civil engineering plans, specifications, and construction directives. Qualifications include 2+ years related civil engineering experience and knowledge of Illinois Department of Transportation record keeping procedures. Associates degree in Construction Engineering a plus.
- Interns
GHA welcomes students interested in pursuing careers in Civil Engineering and Surveying to gain experience by joining our staff through paid internships and co-op programs. Qualifications include current study of civil engineering at an accredited Engineering College or University.
