Mr. Daniel Brinkman, P.E.
Senior Engineer

Serving as a Traffic Consultant to a number of GHA’s municipal clients, Dan has concentrated his career on traffic engineering and transportation planning. He specializes in traffic signal, roadway, and intersection design, as well as traffic impact analysis, parking, and circulation. In addition, Dan has provided expert witness testimony at numerous public hearings on behalf of both public sector and development clients.

Dan is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois, as well as a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois – Chicago, and maintains active memberships in a number of industry organizations.

Dan married his high school sweetheart and has twin daughters. He spent several years as a youth soccer coach, and is currently a softball and pom-pom dad during the season. Through his church, Dan has also participated in Habitat for Humanity in McHenry County.
