Our GIS services provide customized enterprise solutions tailored to meet each of our client’s unique needs. Implementations range from utilizing available base map data to produce superior map products to Internet Map Service (IMS) applications designed to provide a platform for maximum distribution of information.

GHA has also created and implemented custom electronic document storage and retrieval applications designed to bring information previously filed in hard-copy format across multiple departments together in one simple, map-driven interface available to multiple users.  

GHA also has Global Positioning System (GPS) field equipment tailored to GIS data collection. Utilizing either Trimble GeoXT hand-held GPS receivers or  Trimble Pro XR backpack GPS receivers, we can collect feature locations with submeter accuracy suitable for asset mapping applications. Collected positions are further post-processed in our office to further refine the locations, often to a horizontal precision under one foot. Data collected with either unit can be exported directly to the ESRI software.

Our GIS expertise can also provide a benefit to agencies with existing GIS capabilities and staff. Using the ESRI software in conjunction with AutoCad, MicroStation and Microsoft Office software, we are able to share data with various departments or outside entities from the local to the federal level in the most convenient format for the end user.
